If you're a fan of my 'normal' DNB stuff then this one might take you by surprise - it's dedicated to an amazing (PC only) game I play called 'Escape From Tarkov' and a big in-game event that happened this Sunday - a full reset of all accounts and a band new map! There's a great community around the game and this was my little contribution!
I made a crazy video too, probably the most ambitious video editing project I've ever tried - you can watch the video on my youtube channel here:

I also now have some Escape From Tarkov inspired merch on the webstore here:

And Lots of John B & Beta Recordings merch here:

If you want to learn more about the game there's lots of great streamers on Twitch that play every day, I just play on Tuesday nights on Twitch, and it's a nice time to hang out and chat to everyone a bit more than when I'm doing my DJ sets there too.
I had the idea for this song back when the Lighthouse map was first announced, and wrote the lyrics gradually in bits & bobs when I had little ideas when travelling (to the 2 gigs I had before international travel got locked off again) or at the gym etc.
The vision was to make a DNB-speed Drum & Bass 80s Electro Tarkov Party Anthem, not taking anything too seriously, but aiming to do it all as authentically & professionally as possible.
I Recorded the song in a few sessions over the course of a week at the end of November, and then filmed & edited the video myself at home this week - I've missed out on playing all the Tarkov pre-wipe events while I race to get it finished though argh!
A big thank you to my tolerant wife Magda for letting me take over the living room with the green screen, lights & tripods! Also thanks to my Dad for lending me the Roland AX-1 'Keytar' (again).
And of course a huge shout out to the 'Loft Crew' from my Twitch livestreams - thank you for all the support - I hope you guys like song/video!!
